About Me
Pronouns: He/Him
Hello there, I am John a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist 139843 Supervised by PatrickLyra Wilder, LMFT 98562.
If you are looking to start therapy, you have begun to take the first step in your healing journey. As someone who has always had a passion for helping others, becoming a therapist has allowed me to help the communities that matter most to me. In therapy, I aim to create a safe space, where you feel comfortable exploring yourself.
With a Specialization in Somatic Psychotherapy/body-based therapy, I am able to incorporate body-based techniques into therapy. My approach towards therapy includes person-centered, Gestalt therapy, mindfulness-based practices, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Somatic Psychotherapy. I believe that our healing journey involves not only our mind but also our body. Please feel free to explore the other pages on my website for a deeper dive into my other expertise.

*You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
